AdSense Disabled and Let’s Get Updated!

Heaven Sent GamingThat’s right. As you may have noticed, from the lack of updates lately, Isabel and I hit a bump in the road. That bump in the road was Google disabling our AdSense account. They disabled our AdSense on April 29th, while we were getting on a roll with regularly updating our comics. This has only given us resolve.

Google isn’t going to spoil our fun, we have regrouped and we’re going to focus on building a more enriched HSG universe.

Comic updates will begin again shortly. In Thad’s World Destruction the trio will finally be heading off to school.

The first episodes of our podcast began a little while ago, and more is on the way. Hopefully we’ll aim for updates twice a week.

Video, including let’s plays, will become more focused and start some time next week; and my vlogs will start again too. The only major problem is that we were using YouTube as our primary means of video distribution. We may keep using it. But, unless they fix this, Google has personally destroyed their reputation with me. We may move to Blip, Dailymotion, Twitch, and/or some other service.

We will also been transitioning away from Feedburner. About the only thing we’ll keep related to Google, and/or it’s products, will be Google’s webmaster tools. Just, so that way we remain on their widely used search engine. We may also remain on YouTube, but even in that area we may use it only for announcements and fully transition to Dailymotion or Blip.

AmaliaA character sheet of Amalia.

We have also begun to develop our very first publicly released game. News of that will be coming next month.

Also, we’re being a little more thorough in specifying our characters. Here’s an example: http://wiki.heavensentgaming.com/index.php?title=Amalia

aywv will also be updated throughout E3. So stay tuned to aywv for the latest gaming news.

Jason and I will begin regularly updating on our novels; Craft, dD, Iron, and Many.

As I stated before, this has only given us resolve. And expect us back, next week, in a big way. We’re not doing this for the money, we’re doing it for fun. We hope you’ll enjoy.

Stick with us, it’s gonna be a fun ride.

P.S. We received our first dollar donation! To ensure that we’re not using our first dollar towards greed. We have donated it to the One Laptop Per Child Foundation.

The One Laptop Per Child Foundation is aimed “to provide each child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power, connected laptop.”

Thank you very much for the donation, it is very much appreciated. You’ve encouraged us to become more serious in pursuing our dreams. And, we wanted to reflect that same passion in ensuring a child’s imagination might be sparked and enabled by technology.
